Why is Matrix in Fediverse information?
Matrix is federated via bridges. It’s a sister protocol.
But AFAIK it’s not AP Fediverse, right?
Correct, but widely used by those on the Fediverse. Just like how there’s a spot on your profile for your Matrix handle on here.
