Ahh, I have this too. I find wearing a softer pony tail lower down lessens the effect. Satin pillowcases have helped too, I’m too cheap to try real silk. They get less sticky uppy the closer I get to wash day, which is twice a week. Mine is from a combination of bleach and thyroid disfunction.

Oh I’ve heard good things about silk and satin pillowcases, so I’ll look into that as well! Thank you!

I’m not sure what mine is caused by, because it was like this before I dyed it. It’s always been like this tbh. Maybe diet idk. I will admit some is caused by accidentally burning it when I light a smoke 👀 but I’ve been conscious of that for a few years and it happens only a few times a year lol so I don’t think it’s entirely caused by that.

If it tends to be really dry and frizzy you could try a hot oil treatment? I remember there were little tubes sold by VO5 many years ago but they might no longer be around

It’s genetic - the hair follicle openings have a bit of a curve to them and some are smaller than usual and have a more pronounced curve. Nothing extreme. Just enough that the thinner hairs go frizzy. I have this problem too.
