Good. She can’t win; she’d only function as a spoiler. Not that I’d want her to win anyway, she was awful. I still remember that weird thumbs down into curtsy motion she made to kill a bill (I think it was to increase the federal minimum wage). Had real “fuck the poors” energy.
It blows my mind that Sinema was once a member of the Green Party.
That makes zero sense.
Not really; it’s just a convenient excuse for the Dems to blame others and not take responsibility for their own mistakes.
For example:
How the Hillary Clinton campaign deliberately “elevated” Donald Trump with its “pied piper” strategy
(Also, the Green Party had nothing to do with Justice Scalia stopping the Florida vote count in 2000, which is how George W. Bush “won” the presidency.)
Edit – this is also relevant:
Stein says investigation into her alleged ties to Russia ‘found zero’
The U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee looked at charges that the Green Party’s presidential candidate had connections with the foreign power.
Someone might rebut this with, “Yeah, but that’s what she said.”
well…
If the committee found anything Russia-related on Stein, it would’ve been all over the news.
and…
It’s in their own self-interest to keep it quiet if they found nothing.
The Dems making mistakes and Greens being spoilers are not mutually exclusive.
In some cases that’s a mistaken assumption.
Some voters don’t bother voting if they don’t have an acceptable candidate to vote for, and sometimes that’s a third-party candidate.
Despite protests to the contrary, the two major parties are not entitled to these votes.
I mean, words could be said about Kyrsten Sinema but I think this is far more appropriate of a summary of her time as a politician…
