Buying a car from a dealership.
I’m just hopping from one shuttered instance to another.
Buying a car from a dealership.
Just so I’m clear I also think Reddit is garbage at keeping out the bad apples, and the community moderators on Reddit tend to be free speech absolutists too, but at least on Reddit there is more actual human content.
You could have saved a lot of writing by just replacing everything with “it’s not busy enough for me.” I guess you just needed to complain about the other stuff that you admit also exists at the place you’re going back to but are ok with when it’s at that site.
I guess if the males you’re fucking aren’t altar boys, it’s frowned upon.
Freetube will allow you to watch vids adfree on Windows desktop.
This is not new. Over 20 years ago, Marines with chronic razor bumps would have to head to the medic to get a waiver for inspections. A couple of them had such a bad case, their waver would allow them to keep a very tightly trimmed beard for their entire time.
I found this on a Reddit thread, hopefully this gets you on the right track:
“I think checking for the GOG sp. z o.o signature is good enough but checking with AV can also be good. If the exe file has been tampered with, then the digital signature would be invalidated. If the bin files have been tampered with, then running the untampered exe will give the error: https://imgur.com/a/9e5lIZ7. They should be legit as long as it has the legit GOG digital signature. GOG has different signatures for older and newer games btw. You can use https://github.com/hippie68/gogcheck to check the games.”
I know it’s very popular for the doomsayers to propose but time will tell and I’m guessing we’ll have another election or two. Perhaps even three.
Four’s not out of the question.
I suspect you’re going to get mostly sarcasm and mockery tropes but there have always been countries that have allied themselves with American interests. When you say “when help when needed”, if you’re thinking of an actual war on home turf, invasion or something similar, that’s unlikely to ever happen due to our geographical position. If you mean financial help, we take loans from a lot of different countries. If you’re asking about assistance when we engage in war elsewhere, again, that would be all the allied nations.
Militarily speaking, the US is still one of the superpowers just because of the mind-boggling amount of money we spend on it. There’s not many countries that can compete with just the sheer number of US things that are designed to go boom.
Things like goodwill and assistance are currently in a downward transitional trend due to the current administration. It seems a lot of countries feel ostracized by the US due to Trump’s constant foolish and often hostile actions towards them but these types of things follow an ebb and flow, the next administration to reside in office will begin the process of patching things up and relationships will improve.
I can’t speak to the minutia but when I use Lemmy it just feels like a less popular Reddit to me. For me, that’s not a bad thing, just the vibe I get.
I can’t find anything at all regarding discussion, study or opinions on the question but I can tell you that it depends on the person and most likely, they’re experience in working at leveling/setting plumb.
Having used levels(spirit, laser, etc.) for decades, I can set an object like a stud, header or a picture for my wife and often don’t need to move it after checking with a level but my wife will often notice that a group of items aren’t leveled the same on a wall but she won’t be sure which one is off. There will usually be a few adjustments to all of them before she’s happy.
Without context, the image isn’t that impressive. If nothing XP-related actually works and it’s just a display exercise, it’s just a 20-something year old skin import.
If absolutely everything works in the manner XP worked, then it’s incredibly impressive.
I’ve only bought two new cars but don’t consider the depreciation a scam, it’s something everyone knows is going to happen going into it so although I feel I made a bad choice doing it, I don’t blame the dealership. The high-pressure bullshit is also to be expected, sadly.
Used, OTOH, is an absolute scam. On trade-in, they make number adjustments to get the used car basically free and on the sale-end, they dress it up, tell the buyer that it’s been through a 5,000 point quality check and sell you whatever got bought at auction or traded in. They get even scammier if you finance through them. I’ve seen 16% interest rate for a buyer with an 800+ credit score.
The whole thing is predatory in nature.
