i got my tubes tied and the option of adopting played a huge role. I cannot stand the idea of pregnancy, thats why I wanted my own tubes tied, rather than my partner having a vasectomy, that way I am in control. But I don’t hate kids, and I’m not entirely against the idea of adopting a kid down the road. Especially one thats a little older, I’m also not too fond of babies lmao

i just got my tubes tied at 23. I think I felt so strongly about it because pregnancy would be destroying my own body. You don’t really have to worry too much about that, but I still understand wanting to make the decision young. IVF would be an option for me if I were to change my mind. the only reason I look out sometimes is because my world is so small and I know there’s so much else out there that I don’t know about. Plus, I was a sheltered child so asking outwards means I get a variety of perspectives to choose and learn from rather than whatever bs my parents taught me

i think controlling domestic pets is also an issue and im a huge advocate for indoor only, but boars will not integrate in forests here the same way they would in japan. im not an advocate for killing nor do i think it would work, but TNR efforts may help the same way it does with stray cat populations

the problem isnt the boar itself but the damage an outside threat poses to a delicate ecosystem

you can do a lot at home! if youre new to lifting consult your resources and work on your form. if you feel a little lost, you can always book a session or two with a personal trainer and they will teach you your way around weights. i was a trainer for about 2 years and most of my clients needed some corrections their first few sessions (and some reminders past that!)

i was raised in a high pressure household and school was always always the pause. im only 23 now but im still struggling to figure out who i am since i never really got the chance to. responsibilities will always creep in, you have to be super intentional about making time for you. maybe start with a once a week class on something that interests you. as busy as you are, you can find a couple hours one day a week. prioritize movement, eating well, and sleeping enough so you have more energy, and therefore time during the day.

do you exercise or walk to commute? without enough movement the body will slowly adapt to feeling tired all the time. good news is that 15 minutes of heart-rate-raising exercise will do wonders and you can find plenty of beginner videos on youtube you can do in your bedroom. it can also help alleviate brain fog and help your depression a bit too

does he like music? see if theres any old punk shows around or any records/vinyls if he likes that at all. sex pistols, dead kennedys, hell, even green day.
