I’m learning this the hard way with Manjaro, but also learning a lot about Linux along the way. Pulseaudio was just completely fucked and I had to switch to pipewire to get it to stop crashing lol
Yeah I totally get that. I’ve been fortunate enough to have teams where at least half the other people gave enough of a damn haha
I would say with the bad group thing there are two things that massively improve your chances: A) being group leader and B) sometimes being okay with doing a majority of the work and just asking people to do cleanup. I’ve had so many projects go faster from doing all of the hard parts of the project on the condition that they make it look polished.
Oh yeah there is. Open the left-hand navigation sidebar, and click on “trending” . The trending tab isn’t as bad as it used to be but it’s still bad.
Just to provide evidence, you can see the impact of corporate profits and the unit cost of products during COVID-19 in this study:
Corporate profits were a majority of the driver of cost of products during a literal pandemic when people were suffering and needed cheaper goods the most. The pandemic caused inelastic demand to increase and so companies took advantage of a global crisis to line their pockets.
This has been known for eons, hasn’t it?
Linux is the coolest fucking OS, hands down… If you’re a computer nerd. Otherwise it’s inconvenient at the best of times. Many users click around in their OS of choice without fully understanding what they’re doing, myself included. Try this in Linux and you’re in for a really bad time.
I mean the non-sarcastic answer is because putting better rules in place defeats the purpose of libertarianism. The sarcastic answer is because they’re too naiive to think of an alternative and too lazy to think about the consequences. Lol
People already don’t do most of that stuff, what changes when there’s no IP?
The free market is bullshit, it’s constantly manipulated by people looking to make money. The invisible hand is dead and long gone.
It also works with Shift so you can highlight and select words at a time.
If this percentage trending up or down?
Is it really elite trolling if it’s literally just saying things that are generally offensive? Lmao
She unironically needs to get help. I can’t imagine what she’s like IRL if she’s this unhinged over something so small in the grand scheme of things.
Gets denied a loan: shits on the loan approvers desk Gets fired: merks her boss
It really depends on how much time people would have to migrate data and swap email accounts. If it’s years, we would probably be fine although the financial and data loss would be still be incalculable.
If we didn’t have much or any time to migrate… I don’t even want to think about it. If email accounts suddenly got shut down many people would lose banking access, among many other things. It would probably cause a global recession if I had to guess (talking out my ass on this one but I wouldn’t be surprised).
Set up a program for kids to get school supplies and lunch money, and also for them to get some gear for playing games (e.g. a “good enough to play most games” PC or a console)
This could also extend to hobbies in the arts like digital design software, paint supplies, instruments, you name it
As a kid I wished so much that something like this was accessible to me
Oh and also buy out adobe and make it’s subscriptions one-time payments again lol
Holy fucking shit that’s insane. What’s wild is, if I understand it correctly, that’s basically linear with how many users have joined, meaning people are posting more than ever before (on a per user basis).

Genuinely curious how the price works out to be less?
It’s not real, it was a joke made by 4chan that stuck. Nobody is actually using that term unless they’re a pedophile
