I never take news on wars as true until years after they’re over. Every country in every war since the invention of printed press has ran propaganda stories that always help their own cause.
So, I truely have no idea whats true, or how fabricated any given story is.
That being said, it seems like Ukraine is getting less support from the USA after this past week, and if this is true, are STILL managing to strike deeper and deeper into the heart of russia. Which is awesome! It sends the message that they won’t be bullied, and they won’t back down.
I’m really hoping Ukraine wins this war, AND takes Crimea back. I want total victory for them, and a crushing defeat for russia.
I’m hoping the things I’m reading about russias military being down to bottom of the barrel soviet era tanks are true. I’m reading that russia is now essentially without a military besides untrained teenagers. Without any decent weapons. Without any aircraft. Without any modern tanks. Without a navy. It’s all been destroyed, and will take 10 years minimum to rebuild.
I hope thats true.
It is very likely this has been months in the making. End of support today will likely only show a few weeks/months down the line.
