    Defos. To be crude; they have less to lose as well. If I was that age and my country was being invaded I would certainly sacrifice myself to save the younger people.

      Oh yeah, I’m back in college for a career change in my early forties, and I see the difference in world experience and cunning that I have, compared to even the most intelligent and wise early 20 something. Use each asset to the best of their ability.

        I’m getting a masters in my mid thirties with a cohort mostly in their early twenties and I completely agree with you. I wrote a whole thing, but it really seemed like bragging. It’s incredibly obvious to me that the difference is just time, so I don’t feel pride in it. They’ll get there.

          Just another example of the wisdom that age can bring, if you’re open to learning. You don’t brag about what anyone can achieve.
