Short and sweet, investing company came in and bought subnautica. Origional devs left (reasons and results are being handled in court) new company pushed back the release date. Public messages have been released from both sides. It’s pretty obvious the company is a sack of crap and lying about everything. Everyone is assuming they’re going to ruin/milk the franchise for all they can. Hence the movement to remove it from your wishlist. Maybe buy it in a few years from steam for a steep discount.
