You know how cops are always busting people with houses full of marijuana plants? What if you did all of that but with potatoes instead of marijuana? What if you had an entire house full of grow lights and potato plants in buckets and then every inch of lawn on your property had potatoes and not a single blade of grass?
Would anyone care? Would the cops come along and put a stop to it? If not, how many more potatoes would you have to grow before something like that happened?
You should make one brick just for funzies. How were you informed of this law?
I absolutely want to do that, but for now lack the tools/skills.
It was in the copy of the title, and our conveyancer told us before we settled. We were devastated of course, our planned business to revolutionise the brick industry was ruined.
… Like did a previous owner sell the severance rights to the clay on your property or something?!
I think (and it was a few years ago, and I could be imagining things) that the land was originally farm land. When it was sold off and subdivided into the suburb, the owner added that clause for some reason. Maybe to piss off a local brick company 🤷.
You don’t have a shovel and sunlight? Brick making is literally the easiest thing ever.

I think an oven and a couple two by four chunks would do it. Idk don’t let dreams be dreams or whatever.
Google tells me I need 800-1200c, my oven might not cut it. Maybe I can just put it directly in a fire? Can’t have fires in my area though.
