The European Union’s 19th package of sanctions against Russia is expected to be ready in September, top EU diplomat Kaja Kallas announced on Aug. 19, as the EU ramps up its pressure on Moscow in hopes that it will push Russia to end its war in Ukraine.

I don’t want to disagree, but sanctioning China will likely have serious long term consequences for the west. Also will only be effective if it is both EU as a whole + US. Would be the right thing to do I guess, but will not be pretty.

The us plus eu is best but the eu alone is a powerful block. There are long term consequeces, but china has been doing plenty that should concern everyone anyway.
