    No one would starve… the impact that fast food has is on what is grown and harvested.

    McDonald’s mandates a particular type of potato for thier fries with no blemishes, so the company mandates a certain insecticide that the farmers have learned to stay inside when it is applied.

    Coffee growth and harvesting is a brutal business but I am not sure if that can be pinned just on Starbucks.

    If the fast food places where denied product I think the long term impact might be on prices…

    I haven’t been to a fast food restaurant in ages, most restaurants I do frequent are because the food is good and I want to support them. I think I’d be fine as long as there were still grocery stores.
