personally i chose the word based on russian president vladimir putin’s stated war aims of annexing Ukrainian territory to seize natural resources and ethnically cleanse the seized lands.

Das Wort “Lebensraum” wurde in 1930-er Jahren in einer Bedeutung verwendet, die es weltweit bekannt gemacht hat. Dieses Wort soll man schon kennen, egal ob man sonst Deutsch kann oder nicht.
