Two wrongs don’t make a right, and the UK is not the biggest villain in the world rn (just a sidekick, which makes it complicit but not as concerning), hasn’t been for over half a century… Not because they did an ideological 180, lol, but because of circumstances but still. And they’re not as casually violent as Americans, I can tell you that much. Also, America has the bombs and big guns, it’s kind of important to follow up on what they’re doing because of their reach and impact. Finally, that’s a very common reaction I see online and all I can think of it is that it is very feminine in nature, lol. You don’t have to cosign your country’s sins, you know, you can also criticise them like any righteous person would? No need to feel overly guilty! 😅
