it didn’t shut down but it’s essentially in-name-only now. it is currently only music channels in the UK but they said it is company wide and will be done here in the US as well, so… what’s the point in waiting for the inevitable? MTV as a music channel has been dead for a long, long time, and now it’s rather “over” with a capital O.
