Nobody is forcing you to watch Donald Sutherland films… oh wait, nevermind, misunderstood the post.
Have you tried turning off and then on again?
Fixes way more things than it should.
Looking around online it looks like it might be a bug with keyboard dictation. I didn’t find a way to fix it other than rebooting or maybe trying to toggle the setting on the keyboard.
Here’s a link to a thread that’s basically useless but the screen shot looks like it has the same mic icon https://r2.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-S/Mic-button-displays-on-the-bottom-left/td-p/17377304
my best guess would be to check the accessibility settings carefully? this seems like a shortcut enabled from there, what does it do?
I’m really not sure though if you haven’t messed with them prior. sorry I don’t know more
As far as I can tell, it does nothing. I can push on it, I can try to pull from the left side or from the bottom or from the corner, but I can’t get it to do anything. When I open a new app, it appears there in the corner.
It looks like Firefox’s microphone icon, used to search something with voice (speech to text). It should only appear when writing a search query, so it’s a bug. Try updating, or using Fennec (Firefox fork).
The problem is it appears in all apps not just Firefox.
Makes it sound like it’s part of your keyboard app
Have you rebooted the phone recently?
Try disabling Firefox, and see if it dissapears.
