posts like this feel like subtle racism or judging a book by it’s cover. why does it matter that they’re not white/male? it isnt like their policies are going to be any different than the majority leadership of decades past
Now build the goddamn bike lanes/paths. Toronto has sucked for so long in terms of urbanism and now with new, non-carbrained leadership maybe good things will start to happen.
Hopefully they elected her because shes best fit for the job. Not because shes black. Learn from Chicago
Calgary already has a woman of color mayor. Toronto isn’t that important.
It is for everyone that isn’t in Alberta. Like it or not, Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal all sever as leaders for their provinces and the country as a whole. It’s not fair but its heavily dependant on city size.
Asian people are consisted “people of color” now?
