Most likely a mad struggle for power among those in his circle alongside a struggle to be seen as the heir. Vance has an advantage here, but you can see other players making their moves including Greene. Had Kirk been alive he honestly might’ve been my dark horse bet. But if nobody wins a sufficient coalition then everyone loses.
