In the US at least, people aren’t educated on the subject at all outside of bad actors like the Soviet Union, North Korea etc. Red Vienna or any of the other current successful social democracies in Europe or Scandinavia? Never heard of them. Or worse, trained to believe it can’t work here due to their racism.
