I don’t even want to stroke my ego and say this is anything like Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier Märzen, but it’s close enough for me, and my favorite beer to brew by far. It seems like a lot of smoked malt, but beech smoked malt is mild and you should resist scaling it back.
At first I read the grain bill and was a bit confused about the OG. Then I read it’s an 11 gal batch. Makes sense -_-
