    You know we should have slightly higher standards for a “democratic” country which is at least on paper pretending to be “law abiding”.

    And the worst is that even after the offensive Israel said that they are not planning to rebuild what they destroyed but suggested that this would be the responsibility of the international community. And by the time this conflict ends there would be a lot more buildings and civilian infrastructure destroyed along with innocent lives destroyed and/or lost.

    It is quite obvious that Israel doesn’t care about the Palestinian population and they are doing their best to push them to the brink.

      Um…Hamas was democratically elected. You seem to have a double standard there.

        First of all there weren’t any elections since 2006, and second we are talking about the sheer intentional destruction of civilian infrastructure. A big chunk of the civilian population has been displaced and turned refuge once again. What about the humanitarian aspect of this conflict.

        One evil doesn’t justify another evil!

      We consider the US democratic, yet their standards aren’t nearly as high as Israel’s in war.
