Can someone explain to me, why, whenever you delete your comment or posts on lemmy.world, you are still able to find the comments or deleted posts using mastodon by finding the user and you can still browse through the deleted posts or comments by that person? Do they ever get deleted? And if not, what’s the point of having a delete button 😅Thanks
It’s best to assume everything you add to the internet is never deleted. That is the much more likely scenario.
