      Nobody in the texan government wants it to go through. They’ll push it to give lip service to the worst parts of their support base, just as long as they’re sure it will fail. We should pull a prank and let them push it over the finish line, and then invade the new texan independant state.

        No, let them be “independent” until businesses demand they come back. I give them one fiscal quarter (3 months) of plunging sales. No one will trust the government of Texas like they do the US Government.

          TBH with Abbot spending all their money on razorwire that appears to magically increase immigration numbers against its intended purpose, they might be going bankrupt even without ever seceding.

          Unless all of that National Guard expenditure somehow made it out of federal military budget?
