The use of the word alarms me, I admit, because it’s a right wing word used to paint everything progressive as extreme as Soviet Union or CCP under Mao, the collective taking away of private property and difference and advantage.
“Communism” is at this point a kind of highschool level argument of egalitarianism, an idealized abstraction.

No matter what you think of some of the concepts embedded (a few are actually progressive or seem so) it’s a fraught ideology, so laden with dipshit baggage few sensible people talk about it seriously.
(Marxism is useful as an analytical tool to discuss capitalism, but no one sensible wants to live in a marxist state!)
