I save up a 50ml shot glass full of ABV and dump it all into a small blender quart sized smoothie when the time comes.

Strawberry yogurt, fresh strawberry, frozen banana, vanilla icecream, and a scoop of peanut butter, and your prefered kind of milk. These ingredients do nicely to mask the ABV taste and get the liquid slosh down the gullet easy.

I didn’t measure how many Gs of abv but I estimate about 10g of ABV was used I’ll try to scale it if I make this kind of post in the future.

I’m an ABV water soaker to get rid of chlorophyll smell these days, definitely worth the effort if done wholesale. I usually do it once I reach at least a big cup and then store as infused oils. This looks passable though! :)

Thanks for sharing! I forgot to ask about your water soaking method last it was mentioned. Do you by chance got a link to a guide on FC or mind summarizing a quick rundown of the water soak process? I don’t mind the taste of unwashed abv infused oil but it could help if making for others to consume.

It’s very simple really. ABV can’t be too crushed as a prerequisite. THC doesn’t bind to water but you’ll lose some vaped kief due to diameter of holes. Get a cheesecloth and some string to tie it up. Put as much as you reasonably can then put it in room temp water in a bowl for some time. After an hour or so passes give it a couple of squeezes over a drain, flush under tap water and repeat until nasty residue you see each time decreases until satisfaction. You might use smaller intervals at first because it drains so fast. Once that’s done spread wet ABV over tray and a baking sheet and dry in an oven like you would mushrooms (below 80 degrees C, open vent) but be very careful about not overdoing the temperature at this step as temp gauges can be a bit imprecise at lower values. If you can wait then dry it out in a dark place.

This ABV can be later used as you would normally but it’s going taste a million times better.

Awesome! I really appreciate you taking the time to type all that out. I’ll reference this guide and give washing a try next oil gets made 🤤

You did an excellent job writing up the process for washing, thank you.

Much simpler method, especially for smaller scale:

Take a french press, put avb in, replace water for a few days when it gets dirty. When it stays clear you’re done curing it, press the water out, and start cooking.
