Can you detail your VM setup? I’ve tried Windows 10 on several occasions using Qemu and VirtualBox and the UI lag has been complete ass, even after installing the driver packages for each VM host.

This smells like a job by the Intel PR recovery team. Not to mention the amount of data collected and published by game developers about the 13th and 14th gen failures over the past several weeks. There’s just no fucking way.
So by making some snarky comment about how a guy working at a movie theater would probably just shoot the whole family if they were all in America, you think the original comment is by someone who seeks to improve and treat others with kindness? Are you even reading the same thread?
Yeah, the world needs more smug assholes, that’ll make it better.
whispers: your moral narcissism is showing
If I had to guess, it’s because of two things: windows creates a system restore point, which tracks every file the update touches, every time it installs an update (as opposed to something fast like ZFS or btrfs snapshots). Then it also keeps a prior version of anything system related on top of that, these outdated and insecure system libraries live on forever in the WinSxS folder. Imagine keeping an insanely bloated version of every system package installed, forever. I’ve seen WinSxS get to be over 80 gigabytes, of just old crusty shit.
Gross! You got Android in my Linux!
Well that’s cool if they want to become an ad company, but last I checked they are known for making a browser. I’m sure they’ll do so much better than Oracle in the ad business. /s
I wish Mozilla had been really clear about their intentions and end goals with this acquisition. On the face of it, it looks terrible. Especially when you look at their jettisoning of Servo.
What the hell are they up to if making a browser engine isn’t a core competency, but buying an ad company is considered a wise move?
Um, no? The 336 megabyte usb installation media contains everything you need to install base Debian. Most people will want a desktop environment and other packages, they can connect to the network to download those additional packages.
Even the how-to says the network is optional.

Debian Linux installation ISO is only 336 MB, FFS. And that’s a whole operating system with user land!
DNA polymerase goes brrrrrrrrt
You guys aren’t shooting confetti every time you ejaculate? Dang that must suck
Jeez people, next you’re going to tell me the whole Jesus story is just a fucking rehash of other stories that already existed
Yo dawg I heard you like translation and compatibility layers with your translation and compatibility layers
I believe you are thinking in terms of a Turing-machine-like computer. I don’t think it’s possible today to “suspend” the bits in a quantum computer. I also don’t think it’s possible to know if the simulation could be paused (or even “added to” without losing its initial state).
I’ve had better luck after enabling the systemd nvidia-suspend.service (only for Nvidia cards, obviously).
Listen to that turd plop in the water
Bye Felicia
I wish somebody would donate Microsoft to the recycle bin
