Because it’s art.
There is a lot of skill and artistic talent needed to create a facsimile of real life. Anyone can draw a tree, but a realistic tree takes some amount of artistic knowledge. The more realistic the more talent that the artist shows. Similarly, when the artist deviates from recreating real life it shows an artistic vision beyond reality.
We like art because it shows a different perspective from the minds eye of the artist. And when the artist can render that vision as something that looks real, even if it couldn’t really exist, it is impressive.

Yes, their housing in DC should be identical to the minimum standards that they prescribe for prisoners.
CD-R, rewriting has a higher chance to corrupt. And if you like your music you won’t need to overwrite it
I remember going through Roe v. Wade in law school and thinking how shaky the legal foundation was. This is a great case study of why we need to formally adopt laws in congress and not just rely on the whims of the court.
I’m more of the opinion that it should be a height/ weight thing. Or a performance based analysis e.g. you could make sprinter tiers for people within a few seconds of each other based on personal averages. I mean this sort of system already exists for making leagues and tiers right now, we just also split by sex.
I’m not arguing for originality. I’m saying that you can have a human connection with a human made piece of art that, by definition, canon exist for AI art.
The anger comes from the fact that companies are using AI instead of hiring artists.
There is a distinction between a human being inspired by an existing piece of art and an ai creating something from other art. The human has to experience it through the lens of the human experience and create using the human body. AI takes multiple pieces of art and essentially makes a collage.
The problem is that money would just be pocketed by the law makers or used to fund war.
Grandpa Wookiee watching vr porn is something no one should have to witness
Ok, so I’m supposed to move when they build this new transit? With what money?
Yes via the commerce that results in taxes. But the pint is that public transit does not get built unless you can convince law makers that it will be cheaper than any alternative to the government’s pocket.
I’m all for better public transit.
But for those of us who don’t live in a city, it’s not an option. I live about a five minute walk from my nearest neighbor, and a 20 minute drive from work. I’m not in a neighborhood or apartment. They could not feasibly build a rail system to service me and the millions of others who live like I do.
Busses are an option but then my commute would start hours earlier, and they would not pay for themselves where I live. Or I would be paying a very high fair.
Just build a rail system is not the solution.
The lack of any real controls on what goes into vape fluid is a concern. Also, breathing glycol into your lungs can’t be great for them. Studies seem to vary on that, but breathing anything but air isn’t good, just like drinking anything but water isn’t great (I’m big hypocrite on that one though) On the whole probably still not as bad as cigarettes.
We have it, it’s called “Piercing the corporate veil.” Twitter being a California company should make it easier.

Mercury makes you insane before you die. He’d likely start a nuclear war, and then die.
