Yes. I’m so disinterested in money to the point it’s probably unwise.

Agree. The size of the community seems to correlate with the number of trolls, which can quickly change the tone of a platform. Trolls are more active, outspoken, and literally feed on negativity.
Same. Waterloo Cherry Limeade and Blackberry are the flavors I like most.
Guns in America. The need to act inspires fear on part of enthusiasts to buy more guns, ammo, support politicians that bolster stonewalls to any legislation that could make the country safer from irresponsible gun owners. The lack of meaningful action while this is happening shows how screwed the nation is as a gun cult continues to grow and grow.
Everyone’s different, you sound like you may loathe this person, but regardless work is not recreation. If needless social interactions are impacting your ability to work, consider talking to your supervisor. Speaking directly to your coworker may offend, exacerbating the issue for you. Give your supervisor an opportunity to resolve it, who should have more experience and/or training in dealing with conflict.
Stopped reading and watching the news. No point.

No. This is extremely abnormal. I grew up in the 80s and elections were boring. Something happened in 2000, where Al Gore should have won but Bush was favored in court. That was the start of a sense of wrongness with our political system, that has manifested into what we have today.
I feel like the U.S. is becoming similar to Russia. For example, we are seeing an autocratic strongman holding the highest office and only vaguely behaving within the democratic system, with a clear intent to rule unilaterally with a congress and Supreme Court that are less checks and more support for maintaining the power base. And as generations continue to experience this way of life, America as a society will forget what it was like for the past 250 years where both parties respected the system with peaceful transfer of power.
It’s sad, but fascinating in a kind of slow motion train crash to be alive for.
Yes. It’s different, but good.
Probably should have changed the subject or said goodbye. Arguing with conservatives is exhausting and usually in bad faith. It’s about winning, not exploring a topic together.
Samsung DEX.
It’s an absurd thing to say. I understand (and agree) that the U.S. should do more to stop Israel. In fact, I am personally for ceasing all aid to them until they get their country under control. However, I’m not a politician and can make such statements from the convenience of my own home without consequence. I’m not a leader of a democratic nation that itself sits on a knife’s edge between gridlocked governance and full on autocracy. Biden no doubt is weighing the next election in his decision making because he has to. The wrong choice will land a maniac back in the White House. To say he supports genocide is just provocateur nonsense.
“Biden fully supports the genocide.”
This disqualified anything this person had to say. If you believe this, you’re either a confused person or seeking to sow discord.
That’s true too. Thinking about kids less than say, 15, watching this show is what makes me wonder. The level of violence is shocking to me and I’m over the hill. Can’t imagine how it might hit to someone in their formative years.
Your kids? 😅
Just say they. Not he/she. They. End of argument.
We can expect this with any system that grows in size, becomes popular right? I don’t know the science behind it, but communities over a certain size naturally create subcommunities or attract partisans, antagonists, anarchists with a tendency to troll for fun. It’s the way of things.
The Big Lebowski. You pick up on stuff with each watch, and it just gets funnier when you do.
That spokesperson doesn’t reflect well on his agency, our government or our people.
I have friends like this too.
