Does Lutris require some special setup?
Using fitgirl repacks are a bit hit and miss for me. But if they don’t work, Lutris doesn’t help.

I was also told to get any diploma because it would somehow prove you’ll be good at an unrelated job.
Finished my studies during a recession, nobody would hire someone without work experience and I was suddenly overqualified for other jobs.
Getting a diploma wasn’t a good idea.
It’s hard for men. Big stores that just squeeze in a small section in the back for men. Trying 3 different items: one’s too big, one’s too tight, but they’re all the same size.
It takes some time to block out stuff to make Lemmy usable. So much anime, bots and dumb American politics.
It’s nice there are a bunch of apps for Lemmy, but using it without an app is not very welcoming. It needs a lot of improvement (e.g. manually compose urls to subscribe to communities on other servers).
It’s also fun that we can go to Germany and still get cash out for free whereas Germans have to pay a fee for using their own ATMs.
Just lost my job so I have this time. I want to travel a bit later, but until I can leave, I’m doing nothing at all. Years of fulltime work just killed off all social life, any motivation. Now that I’m finally free, I feel so dead inside that I just want to do absolutely nothing for a while.
Yes, very limited space. Also the cost of running it. And I don’t want to invest in anything really because I don’t want to stay here. I’ll wait until I have a better place.
A lot of people are overusing it. Imo comics, art etc. shouldn’t be NSFW.
Yeah laundromats are annoying. I was rather thinking to have some space in the apartment building to share with neighbors.
It sucks to have drying racks taking up all my living space.
Laundry. Why do each of us need to have a machine and space to leave clothes to dry when we could have a common space for that?
Sure, I was always interested to see where everyone was traveling. That’s what I had Facebook for until it turned to shit.
I don’t have to hear anything about babies though.
It’s so wasteful. It costs paper, electricity, bandwidth, and mostly, my time. I don’t have money. If you advertise something that costs money, I’m not interested.
I heard one I thought was ridiculous. You can pay a company because you spend so much you don’t even know where your money is going, because don’t we all have so many subscriptions nowadays?
I have a no spam sticker on my mailbox but brokers don’t care. No, I don’t want to sell my home so you can drive up the rent. If I’d own the place, I could do that myself.
I already go to the supermarket every day. Why do they need to shout at me telling me what they’re selling? Stop wasting money and make stuff cheaper instead
Because they don’t have change?
Happened to me before. The ATM only gives out 20s but the driver only wants small coins, only cash is accepted.
It happened in several countries and it’s still a mystery to me how you’re supposed to get small change when you’re fresh off the airplane or something (or why they don’t just take card).
I’ll just mention QMMP which is basically a Winamp clone. Works great and I’ve used it for many years now.
More recent ones that are really good:
Barry, a show about a murderer that turns out to be really funny.
Snowfall, about drug dealers making it to kingpins. A similar show, Queen of the South is also good.
And some classics that are funny and clever enough to rewatch:
Keeping up Appearances, I think we all know some of these characters in real life
In the last week, I came across 2 videos that started with an ad. Both were embedded YouTube videos. They must have found a way to circumvent adblocking.
It’s loud and annoying and I don’t have the patience for this. I just didn’t watch those videos.
You’re out of touch. Employers don’t want overqualified people. They are the ones that decide for you that you can’t possibly be motivated for such a job. You’ll only leave when you find something better they think, which is definitely true when you claim to just “bridge the gap”.
Of course, but how often would you go to a coffee place? If you work in an office, coffee is usually free anyways.
People who act like they are blind to others in the supermarket. Not making space for others, blocking us with their trolley etc. It’s not a museum.
