I had a cat a while back, and when I travelled for a few weeks, my sister, who lives in the same building would make sure she’s fed and the litter cleaned etc and spend a bit of time with her. However, my sister told me that Pickett (cat) seemed depressed, and true enough when I got back she gave me attitude for a few weeks, and so I adopted Snowy for her. He basically taught her how to play again, since she’d been seemingly wanting to grow into old age and just sit on my lap and doze happily for hours.

But, I also had another cat in Dubai decades earlier, and she was quite happy being alone. In fact, she didn’t like anyone but me (she was a rescue).

They can all fuck right off. There is so much I’d like to say but I cannot because I will be accused of inciting violence. Funny how Right wing and zionist incitement is allowed on social media, but when anyone left leaning says anything immediate bans. I’m hoping something of biblical proportions happens in Israel. Maybe it will turn into a self fulfilling prophesy, anyway, these are words, I can’t encourage anyone other than any gods out there to rain sulfer and all that. I sympathise with the left wing Jews in Israel, but unfortunately, the genocide continues and this is their governement. It’s a real shame we are not allowed to say certain things on social media. While I agree with the sentiment sometimes, the ongoing events in Gaza make me internally wish for very horrible things to happen to certain people who have a specific ideology.

Honestly I understand what you mean, for me it was the opposite, my family and close friends had been telling me about my abuse for decades. So when I finally admitted I owned the word Alcoholic. I’m a happily recovering one. Good on you for managing!

Alcohol isn’t everyone’s friend, I was an alcoholic at 18, and refused to acknowlege that fact and kept denying it in the face of all the evidence. When I finally asked for help and quit drinking at 45, I realised how much of a mess I’d made of my life. Thankfully I’ve been sober since (going on 7 years now). Addiction is not a joke people.

Believe me I know how the western population view Gaza, unfortunately they are unable to bring change about, when I mention the west etc, I am talking about the governments. I’m very happy with the recent comments by the Spanish premier calling Israel a genocidal state, but as long as the US veto remains, and European guilt (specifically Germany) means that Israel will seemingly have immunity no matter how many atrocities they commit.

I’m talking about the security gurantees for Ukraine to have the nukes removed, and Russia had always maintained they do not want Nato on their door step. I am not justifying anything, I am merely pointing out the talking points used by various parties.

I will accept that, as in fairness I haven’t delved into that conflict deeply, on the surface it seems like the whole NATO push was to incite Russia in the first place, but again, I’m not too well versed in this. As for the blackmailing, that became pretty obvious when Trump took power but I’m unsure if that was the case before. Thanks for the info.

Nice name btw, I’m Lebanese so quite likely more biased than most against Israel. But I cannot for the life of me understand the worlds outrage at Russia in Ukraine while the events in Gaza over decades has been so much worse. As an Arab raised in the west, this hypocricy and double standards has always pissed me off. If they’re white christians then they must be defended at all costs it seems. (I understand this is a gross over simplification and the Russian agression could possibly threaten Europe). But to the manority of people of colour in the world see it this way. Just look at the latest bullshit from Trump bringing white afrikaaners to the US citing genocide. it’s insanity.

And with the orange toddler in the white house still bleating on about taking Gaza, it’s unlikely to stop anytime soon. Obligatory fuck Israel and their genocidal policies.
