  • Amongst stated reasons, “signing up” is more difficult here. Its not as straightforward a process and content isn’t as spoon fed to you as other platforms. The tech literacy needed to get here isn’t high, but as I learned the average tech literacy is abysmal.

About 10ish years ago when I was 14, I helped some people print something. They tried printing something from a computer plugged into the printer, an error popped up saying “printer not connected”. I thought, thr printer must be, yknow disconnected. Some 6 people had gatherd trying to troubleshoot this but were stumped. I pointed out the error message that kept coming up, didn’t click. I followed the cables from the pc to the printer, it was disconnected, I plugged it in and reported back. They where stumped on how I possibly knew what was wrong or how to fix it.

I am not good with technology, but im good enough to know im not good with technology. I have found most people, even those younger or same age tend to not be tech literate.

Finding the application and filling it out for any random federated instance may seem like nothing but it requires an ammount of literacy many Americans dont have.

  • I work as an educator for educators, its our responsibility to teach them everything they need to know. We commonly fail when associates dont ask questions when they dont know. Its nigh impossible to teach everything in general.

What im trying to say is, hardly anyone can simply teach you everything you should know. Where does one start teaching? Look both ways before you cross the street? Dont trust the internet? There is so much knowledge to be learned and its hard to gauge what someone else may or may not know and what specificly they need to learn. It also depends on personal context what information is relevant to you. Street smarts for NY is different than LA, from suburbs to rural.

The most important thing is to ask specific questions when you are unsure. Your on the right track, best of luck. and for most things in society there is hardly one empiricaly “correct” answer.

Its tough but dor everything that you encounter that you are not sure about, what it means or so, ask, research. Its tough and skow goinf but thats how you learn. It takes a lifetime to learn and a lifetime to overcome bad learning.

  • OP leaving out the its happened at least 3 times now sequentially is a big thing. Being late once 5 minutes? Let a person be late, yknow maybe? They are habitually late, thats not a rough morning but a constant lack of punctuality. Yeah, no. They should be ready by 7 sharp, they should be making sure they can be and if they cant making such arrangements with the gym (if they work for the gym)

This is not they are late 5 minutes this one time, this is, my trainer isn’t being responsible, im getting jipped, I have tried escalating it but its not working, what can I do?
