Everyones own milage may vary, I’m not going to argue every comment. Good they can use Linux though - my parents never wanted to know anything but be pure users, so I did the same for them and in out case Mac was easier.
I just don’t see the point of slighting any OS when it’s used as an appliance, which - for the most part with family, is its role.
And Linux is?
I want you to tell grandma how to update her video driver. Over the phone.
Clearly I’m a bastard.
All cool on many things, except one:
they seem to love to hate on Apple there
That’s the only thing they’re right about, though. They shouldn’t have banned you for your comment, especially not if it’s true, but Apple DOES suck in nearly every way possible 🤷
To which, all I can say is:
First off, …HEY! 🧐
Secondly, this isn’t “Goldmember”. Should I arbitrarily hate other countries for shits and giggles? …And who says I’m even Dutch? Maybe I’m like Kirk and I only work in The Netherlands.
Thirdly, they seem to love to hate on Apple there. I had the comeuppance to suggest Jen Simmons and the Safari team actually read the bug submissions (and she’s recently been on numerous videos, podcasts, and in posts on Mastadon saying so) and pushed back on their emoji-malarky.
On some instances, opinions other than the admins need not apply. Hopefully you’re not suggesting as much, even with the digs at the Dutch (who aren’t that bad, but like many, many other countries, aren’t all good either).
Oh, I got banished from a whole instance on Mastadon for saying that the Apple Safari team looks at every bug request (and they do):
Little fucking Napoleons will ruin social media, not matter what platform.
Indonesia’s population is predominantly Muslim, and while I don’t know the ins and outs, some holidays like Ramadan, family (I’m told) is expected to be home. Also, Indonesia is as long as the US, and many airports inside the country still haven’t opened up air travel to the same extent it was before the pandemic, so that means boats, trains and buses. There’s a lot of people to move.
Trying to learn Indonesian now, but it’s basically the “travel period” we think of for Christmas or the the US Thanksgiving. It’s just that they have a phrase for it (I’m thankful there’s no future or past tense…)
I’m sorry but fuck Poe.
We’re speaking of genocide here - be serious or use a /s.
First, you have to catch them. Without plates on the bike, they become anonymous asap.
Secondly, you need to understand us Dutch. Rules are for the Germans, as it’s always smart to ask forgiveness than permission (read: catch us if you can)
Go to bed Donny. You’re tired.
But they both needed to sleep. The flight is just 2h 40min (I’ve done this before) so it’s likely they both needed to rest a bit. I know a number of pilots in US and European airlines, and they’ve always maintained that these commuter runs are a grind.
That could also point towards overworked pilots.
Just consider reality occasionally, ‘k?
That’s not what I’m saying - Arabic nations still need to attend to their own home-grown evils before they can attempt to label other empires as such. You seem set on a particular mindset, and I’m not going to waste any more time with people twisting my words for their own agenda.
Wow we all love people that can’t admit when they’re wrong don’t we
(Edit: yes, no punctuation hurts for this joke but the lack of contractions is a bridge too far)
Sorry, but that’s too simplistic. Israel’s support is too engrained in the politics of the US and other countries, and they could easily throw monkey wrenches in all directions. It makes the situation worse, not better. Netanyahu has to removed, but as it is now he has to be worked through, and that’s what’s slowing everything down.
But it’s a greenhouse gases contributor - electric is better. Check that anode commented below.
