The most non negative reason i can think of for MPs not to be bothered. Is fear that thos is more common amonst younger folks who grew up with the idea more acceptable.
As those folks are also more likely to be living at home with family. There is a reasonbly high chance the data would be inaccurate depending on views of head of household.
IE any subject that is politically sensitive would need indevidual secret collection of data. As not everyone would be comfortable discussing it with family members.

Right from day one recycling was a plastics industries attempt to green wash and delay shut down/ replacement.
Many better options exist. The only issue is production cost. And that will not improve while corperations continue to use plastic as the cheap solution.
The industry knew what they were doing when they claimed plastic could be recycled. And need to suffer for the lie that it was a solution to the harm their product dose.

Late 1990s my uni had unix workstations HPUX.
So all projects etc were expected to be done on those. Linux at the time was the easy way to do it from home.
By the time I left uni in 98. I was so used to it windows was a pain in the butt.
For most of the time since I have been almost 100% linux. With just a dual boot to sort some hardware/firmware crap.
Ham radio to this day. Many products can only do updates with windows.
With the amount of open bed, cheaper printers, a lot. Keeping them inside does not prevent them from entering the environment. As well we need to breath to start with, so airflow will take it outside. Add vacuum cleaning and waste disposal. Unless the plastics are trapped and melted into larger clumps. They get into the environment. This is why they are so dangerous.
Even with enclosed printers. Unless very well filtered and some plan for disposal of that filter that prevents this. It’s just an extra delay.
Some plastic types are better than others. And I honestly think development of thermo plastic replacements is better than stopping 3d printing.

I found towpaths also have this issue with definition of surface.
I am legally blind. (Some vision but bad)
I have a few times tried to add more ditail to areas of towpath that will help the others like me know what to expect before mooring.
Seems anything that improves this will help in your issues as well.
