How does a law explicitly interfering with first amendment rights not get immediately struck down as unconstitutional? Limiting free speech is not even an unintended theoretical side effect of the bill; it’s the expressed purpose.
I mean, are you telling me you’ve never dreamt about it?
Possibly out of the loop here, but what is Tabula Rasa?
Re-invent. Your still far too late to be first.
Sound quality will be exactly the same among any of the services that offer lossless files (ie all of the ones that aren’t Spotify). That’s literally the point of lossless.
I have a “server” cobbled together out of old PC parts. I have proxmox running on it and Home Assistant is one of the VMs running on that machine.
There’s nothing more true than Occam’s razor. And stupid is by definition simple.
Unfortunately, when you apply Occam’s razor along with the second law of thermodynamics to politics, you end up with the current mess.
It’s an HBO political-comedy talk show. As far as I know, that’s a category of 2. It doesn’t take a conspiracy to see how one would be constantly in the suggestions of the other.
You are underestimating how truly idiotic the corporate world actually is.
I wouldn’t even credit them with that much thought. It’s far more likely that it’s simply “you watched late-night political comedy talk show, so here’s another late night political “comedy” talk show.”
I’m confused. Is it Bill Maher or just the concept of “You may also like” in general that you take exception to?
This isn’t targeted at personal desktops. This is for enterprise use, where you didn’t own the data in the first place.
That falls squarely under the “don’t ask questions you don’t want the answer to” category.
So if I’m understanding correctly, once I get rich from winning the lottery, I should build myself a sleeper with a “Hideous and Horny Commune” bumper sticker on the back.
You’d have to declare it and pay any import taxes on it, same as you would have had to do before the tariffs.
Me too. I’m on the right side of the border and would happily order from this company if they sell something I need.
Never thought of that. In my use case, Transmission is running in a container on my server, so it only ever has one connection, and VPN and traffic management happens on my router.
Do people still use transmission? That seems like be the default one I see in prebuilt torrent server containers.
The only thing I can think of is that there was some sort of event where other people were being willingly set on fire. Like if were some sort of performance that went wrong, I could see there being a reasonable defense that the performer didn’t know she didn’t want to participate.
