Yeah what annoys me aswell is that I don’t like to type anything into the search field so noone can steal my data, buttfuck go refuses to give me results that way
It’s something that you just get used to. When I had to travel long distance in a cramped bus daily I used to sleep on the way. The effect was so strong I from doing this every day that I really had to fight falling asleep in every bus I rode on after that. Now the habit is gone again.
This happens to me every other day. Ffs please don’t be polite, just drive by the rules. I hate it when cars stop in the middle of the road and you have to wait for them to start driving again because you often can’t know i f they are being polite of if they are just adjusting google maps and continue to drive.
Such an idiocracy headline.
I never watch Trailers fully. Just 30seconds to get a feel of the movie.
With that logic a shitton of local news would be world news. This is at best US News but not world news.
How is this world news? Seems pretty local.
Seems like a good design though?
What about uncles and aunts? Grandparents don’t just have one family to take care of. Also when I was born my grandparents were still working a long time, and now I have a son and his grandparents will be working for 15+years at least. I could never ever get my parents to move closer to me. Also they would have to abandon my siblings who live closer to them.
Not if you have a bery specialized job, or a job that requires moving. Think about doing a PHD, or even just being a teacher in germany the state will sort you into a school. You cannot not pick a city as a teacher, just give 3(?) preferences.
If both people in a marriage have very specialized jobs it’s hard enough to find two jobs in the same city. Imagine doing this with two or three generations of people.
Yeah I don’t want to sound riled up or anything, but avoiding US local news is getting annoying. Even german newspapers and radio are full of it. It’s just not something I expect to see in worldnews.
Lemmy as opposed to Japan? I think OP just neglected to post his coubtry of origin.
What does here mean?
This isn’t world news.
It’s like this in Germany, except that you can drive very fast on the Autobahn, but you don’t have to
Oh okay now I get it, thanks
What are you talking about? I am pretty confused by your entire perspective How is using technology not in the engineering curriculum? Building robots and programming was at least half of my degree. And risk management is a very, very, small part of it, just a couple factors you add to some calculations basically.
Well berlin is certainly a different place than the rest of germany. They are famous for their “berliner schnauze” like new york or paris are famous for honest and/or rude people.
