Recently dropped a Le Creuset kettle and snapped the plastic whistle. Emailed them asking if this could be fixed, they said, nah, and processed a replacement kettle of my choice without asking if I was still within their 5 year warranty.

I wasn’t.

Gifted it to a friend who recently got her own place to live.

That’s all I can think of at the moment. All in all, upfront costs will be between 1000-1500 between equipment and seeds if you are going for a 3x3 like mine.

*I cannot emphasize enough how important the dehumidifier is. Let humidity go wild during the vegging phase. But during flowering, humidity above 55% will pretty much guarantee mold and a lost plant after months of growing. And flowering will make any tent very humid (absent a lemongrass apparently) edit: make sure the dehumidifier has a drain hose, preferably one that’s higher off the ground if you don’t have a convenient place to drain the water (mine is sitting on books and draining into a 1 gallon bucket. At peak flower, it can fill a bucket over night) You won’t be able to keep up with emptying the tank if you don’t have a drain hose.

**I’m sure I sound like an AC infinity shill at this point, but the self watering base has been a game changer for me and all my big plants (even the lemongrass is using it). Saves time, works with water soluble nutrients, no need to worry about plants drying out, and with fabric pots, over watering is dam near impossible.

I’ve learned that it first came about as an explicit feature around 2006, I was not awake as a proper human at this point.

Regarding the privacy concerns.

Just now, my friend used her google photos AI to search for photos of me and my dead cat using my name.

I’ve come to accept that my information is readily available and that I am but a humble fish apart of a school surrounded by sharks, playing a numbers game for survival.
