Plans never go the way you expect them too. Also, this is the most vague post I’ve ever seen in my life. You said a lot of words without really saying much.

I work from home, made a discord for other people that work from home, posted it on reddit in the town I live in, and ended up making friends that way.
Unfortunately, you have to go out of your way to make friends the older you get. But I don’t think it’s an insurmountable obstacle. Just gotta find people who share common interests.
Did the person writing this have a stroke?
I learned assembly for a few weeks when I first started a new job once (didn’t even have anything to do with my job), and I always felt like my brain was tired after trying to write in assembly. Just took so much more mental concentration than writing in c for example.
It’s just a joke friend.
See what now?
This is NotTheOnion, I’m sure you’re right, but not really the place to be complaining about that.
Maybe, but the U.S. does have some of the most expensive health system in the world, and the quality of care isn’t really better.
Why should drug companies be profitable at all? Seems like the perfect thing to be nationalized and/or even considered a basic necessity.
Yeah, I’ve said that before. I don’t think they have enough regression tests, and unit tests.
Only one of those things is completely optional.
Why are programmers so arrogant? They do have unit tests, and a dedicated test team. Refactoring can and does introduce bugs. It’s a fact.
I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily safe, ERs are full of people who almost blew off their hand or other appendages around 4th of July.
Sure, refactoring is sometimes necessary. But refactoring also introduces new bugs often. Our code base is constantly being refactoring, and it’s not more reliable, stuff is constantly breaking.
Sure, but refactoring things constantly leads to bugs too. Once it works you should stop rewriting code. The SW team at my job didn’t get the memo.
I just don’t get it. It terrifies people’s pets, and the wildlife outside, it’s incredibly noisy (meaning you can’t get away from it if you live near someone doing it), and it produces tons of waste and pollution. Can’t we just have a big BBQ like we do the rest of the year when we celebrate stuff?
Everyone can participate in the fireworks, not just stand there and watch.
Don’t we just stand there when we watch fireworks too 🤣
That’s fair, I just think there are ways to get that besides blowing things up once a year, especially given that fireworks produce a lot of unnecessary waste and pollution in the environment.
It’s a huge environmental hazard too.
This doesn’t sound normal at all. I’m in my mid 30s and I have never had debilitating pain, unable to open jars pain. Like others have said, seek a second opinion.
p.s. get a new doctor, one that will actually listen to you when you say something is wrong.
