I didn’t think of having multiple kids and sharing the game since iirc pokemon only has one save file per cartridge, so you’d still need multiple copies, unless they finally changed that. But I do know lots of people like just having physical media anyways so I considered that. I ain’t blaming the guy for what happened. He bought something with a clearly advertised expectation and gs bait and switched/scammed him and he needs to get a refund.
I’m just curious why they picked gs when there are other cheaper online alternatives and other brick and mortar stores offering it as well. Gs wouldn’t be my first pick so Im just curious to get another persons perspective on why it was for them
Well you don’t need to imply my comments because I made it very clear Im not blaming… If someone bought cough syrup online from a shady dealer for the same price or more than getting it online from a reputable dealer. I wouldn’t blame the person at all if the cough syrup came pre-opened. They paid for something and got bait and switched. But I am personally curious as to why they bought from them because it is different than what I would do. Again not to blame but more out of curiosity.

Yeah I get that, but then I’m still curious as to why picking gs when Amazon, ebay, and other brick and mortar retailers like walmart, target, and best buy. All also sell the game online for new for a cheaper price. One other person mentioned maybe OP had a gift card which would then make sense.
Either way OP needs to get a full refund, if it’s on a gift card then they need to take it to a converter to get the money to spend it with a different company that will actually treat them well and won’t pull a shady bait and switch.

I think the worse part of the pandemic was realizing that anti-maskers and the like have 0 creativity or humor and just how tiresome hearing the same 4 insults over and over was. It was like having an item not scan at the register and the customer say “it must be free” for the 30th time that day… But on a national scale.
Like you could call masks face huggers and make fun of people about to get a chest burster. You could call them stale air enthusiasts. You can call them breath checkers, mint reminders, mobile napkins. Possibilities are endless!

Like I get it, windows bad or w/e… But to act like it takes longer than an hour or two to install it, let alone 2 whole fucking days is just asinine.
Imagine having enough of a skill issue that it takes you 2 days to install Windows OS. The OS that idiot proofs itself by literally holding your hand on every option and walks you through itself to install.
Im not even joking, I re-install and have installed windows the past few years multiple times on personal devices for myself and my family and friends and even do it for professional devices and servers for my job. It is brain dead easy, enough that my tech illiterate grandparents managed to re-install it before I could make the drive to meet them and do it for them… I can’t take this OP or anyone else seriously if they can manage to install a linux based OS but somehow have 2 days worth of trouble with Windows OS…
I was having the same issues you are with posts being seen on browser side but I couldn’t see my posts in either connect or sync.
They showed up later on tho and people were voting and responding to them in meantime. So I think it’s probably just a server or api issue and not app related since for me at least the issue was consistent across apps

By the time he got into office civil war had all but been guaranteed as decades of kicking the can on the issue of slavery, combined with increasing resentment in the divide of the north and south culturally. Had created a powder keg that arguably was lit back during the start of bleeding Kansas years before he even became president.
And with how stubborn the south was on not letting go of slavery, well there really was no diplomatic solution by then. Hence kicking of the can all those years prior. Maybe he could have enacted decisions that delayed the war, but it would have only been a delay.
The only way civil war could have ever been prevented is if the founding fathers had told southerns to pound sand and outlaw slavery back during the signing of the constitution. That or maybe if the cotton gin had been invented a decade later
