This used to work for me but these days the only way it works is if I pace myself with a big glass of water in between each alcoholic drink. The “chug a liter before bed” only somewhat helps now, but barely.

4·4 months agoYou were totally right to point it out, maybe the phrasing was a bit prone to this kind of reactions but anyone with a modicum of reading comprehension can tell it was meant as informative, not derisive.
Potato salad (European) is perfect along whatever you’ve put on the grill.

Interflora never lets me down for this kind of things. Not the cheapest though.
A month long, fatal binge is probably not that high of a budget. Don’t let your dreams be dreams!
There’s loads, I’m kind of blanking but MDR (mort de rire) comes to mind as the lol equivalent. I think you guys in Quebec don’t use it though correct me if I’m wrong. I married one of yours but I’m still missing a lot of the day to day things.
Getting the visa is another story though.

I go raw, I trust my instance to defederate from the worst of it, but otherwise I don’t block people, communities or anything. I also browse by all and while I subscribe to communities it’s more for the future or something, because for now there’s just not enough content to curate my feed really.
It’s all good though because I switched to other sources for my specialist content (mainly YouTube) and Lemmy is just there for my obsessive scrolling.
