The original was just brutal.

Try to enhance a Glaive with speed, from the Stone of Augmentation(stay with staff for mage). Then upgrade and add a glyph.

I’ll definitely have to give that a try next time.

Shattered Pixel Dungeon

This has been the only version of the game I’ve ever gotten close to beating. For that reason alone it’s worth mentioning.

Notepad ++ is invaluable for writing code, I’ve used it for a long while now.

Not to pick an argument, but as a dev VSCodium has been a significantly better experience. It’s a good text editor, it’s got good search functionality, can be used as an IDE, and has good support through extensions.

And more of a shallow reason, it’s got much better dark mode support.

Actual - Accounting/budgeting/etc

Wrote up a python script or three to handle parsing my bank CSV export files into an actually usable form, with automatic categorization, and so now I just do a periodic export and sync, and have all my financial records all in one place with some nice visualization, categorization, and budgeting features from Actual. It saves everything to a local sqlite db, so I can always jump ship to a different system if needed, and also itself provides a CSV export option.

10/10 software, would recommend

Just don’t use it by name, that is potential grounds for a mistrial.

The goal is to doubt everything the pigs say, because they’re corrupt as fuck.

Place doubt on evidence, on motivations, on testimony. Make it clear that there is insufficient evidence.

We know that cops can break encryption on your phone, get everything from your social media accounts with full cooperation of the site owners, they can track your phone even if it is off, they can track your payment methods for your ebike get away vehicle to the CVS you bought your prepaid card with cash at, they can track you with the thousands of cameras they have everywhere, they can use gait identification to ID you even if you have gloves on and a mask on, they can plaster your face all over the internet, use thermal vision drones to find you in some field.

The police are militarized and have their surveillance tentacles in every crack and crevices they can. We know this already, and there is no value that such a trial would provide for that.

No, and if they do find him, the jury should vote not guilty and utilize jury nullification.

Bribes would be a concern, so good pay and anti-corruption mechanicms would still be required.

Direct bribes are only part of the problem. Corporations would still do the things they’re doing now, where they bribe politicians with cushy jobs once they leave their government positions. Good pay on the job while at the government doesn’t stop that.

Randomized representatives can still be propagandized, bribed, and have hunger for power.

For me personally, it was easier to just write a few python scripts to parse the CSV files from my banks.

I switched over to this last month, and I’m already a fan of it. It did take a bit of time to port over my old shtitty excel tracking, and to write a few python scripts to parse the export CSV files from each of my bank accounts, but it is very clearly worth it.

One of the nice things is that it uses a SQLite db to store everything, so if shit ever hits the fan with one of my drives or the software, it isn’t the end of the world.

You can self host it so you can access it over the web, or you can choose to run it entirely locally. It’s pretty nifty, and I’ve elected to using it for the second option.

Not everybody does. I’ve seen some threads, mostly on insta, where people were fallomg over themselves to get on their fucking knees to slob on Elon’s nob. I get that the average insta user isn’t the brightest, but people like that do exist.

And it leaves a bad taste in my mouth, because there is a chance that the hard work of the engineers, laborers, and Shotwell will be used for Elon’s fame throughout history.

So yeah, fuck Elon. The tech is cool as fuck though.
