One thing no one mentioned is the license. I won’t touch BSD because if any BSD system gets good enough, a big corpo can fork it, get slightly ahead, and then never give back.

Agreed. I was more on board before the Rust train lost some steam, but shit breaking all the time is worth putting an end to
The problem is they’re either lazy or busy (the one guy I knew was busy), and unlike you or me they can’t trust anyone to clean their apartment/car for them.
There was one girl I knew who was known among the dealers as trustworthy - if she saw 50 grand under your bed she would clean around it but not touch it. She made bank
Can you articulate the real advantages of separating these things? Seems like bloat
Bad license though
Wow did I ever miss this development.
Transaction chaining allows signing a transaction spending another transaction, before the spent transaction is published and mined on-chain. This enables certain layer-two designs for Monero (such as some payment channel protocols).
Nevermind the huge privacy win. I’ve wanted this for nearly a decade.
If you have 100$, and you bet 1$ at a time, infinitely, you will lose.
More generally (simplified to assume you’re always betting the same amount):
P(ruin after X bets) = (edit: I removed my formula because it was wrong…but I’m sure you could mathematically prove a formula)
I missed a few weeks of This week in Plasma, and while gaming yesterday on my laptop, I clicked the the battery and saw I could put it into Performance mode. Amazing surprise, I love KDE more every time!
Netflix and their low resolution can suck it. Sail the seas, matey
+1. My youngest sister plays some weird fake Minecraft clone that’s free on mobile. I have no idea what the game is about, but she loves it and gets to socialize with her friends over there

Can confirm - It’s very easy to package Appimages into Flatpak
Back when I got into music with LMMS (https://lmms.io/) I quickly realized professional artists can recreate eachothers songs, from scratch, in like a few hours. That’s why (in my opinion) “open music” never became a thing.
I would love to be wrong though. I too spent a while looking for this, and would be excited to find out if something exists
There used to be Wolfballs, a right-wing Lemmy instance. I didn’t browse much but there was definitely ample racism there.
Why would Slackware be insecure? The only trust is in the package manager, which comes with checksums and a maintainer who has a good track record
The syntax is [//lemmy.world/u/andrewta)
. It’s more complicated because fediverse. But like Facebook, my client automatically populates it for me (as soon as I type @andr it popped up as an option) .world](https:
