Yea, I don’t get them either. Natural, synthetic, or blended, I just think textile tech is way better than it was. Nothing I’ve bought in the last few years is anything other than natural and they all never need ironing.

That’s such an unhelpful statement. Idk what made you think it’s obligatory. Everyone is talking about ACTIVE SEQUESTRATION. Further extraction of more carbon from current natural sequestration is undoing what already has been done. We need to create ways to artificially sequester the carbon while ALSO limiting emissions.

Like the other response said, some light exercise before bed is generally good for sleep. If you feel it’s waking you up, your brain might already be in go-mode. Do you limit blue light or anything before bed?
If you still feel before bed is no good, or don’t have the time or whatever, literally anything is better than nothing.

To piggyback on another comment. Massage. I’m a massage therapist who sees clients with disk issues all the time.
99% of the time it’s because of shortened hip flexors (your psoas attached to your bottom vertebrae and as it shortens, is too tight to let your spine stretch which then just crushes your disks) due to both extended time in a seated position as well as a weak core. Stretch, get a massage, find a PT to help with chronic back pain. Start doing crunches before bed.
Also drink more water. Only kinda related but basically everyone should be drinking more water.

But they’re a doctor. They get the title Dr from being a doctor and not a chiro. Chiros are allowed to call themselves doctors in many places for some damn reason.

Trump actually loves it, not a joke. He’s obsessed because, for a long time, fast food was cleaner. Unfortunately Trump’s image of McDonald’s and other fast food is stuck in 1960

Wouldn’t be surprised if it was supposed to be “hike day with grandpa!” with no mention of a swim and then it turns out reporters are there as there’s a political stunt happening. Wouldn’t be surprised if mom/dad are off camera telling them not to get their face wet.

I heard this one on the radio. When they were talking about it being a non-choice between moving and closing, it was so sad.

Nobody gonna at least honorable mention Walmart? It’s been a bane on local small business from the start, but it’s also been funnelling wealth out of communities.
When employees have to both live off assistance AND can only afford to ship at Walmart with their employee discount, more wealth goes to Walmart than they ever pay the employee and the community just gets poorer all the meanwhile.

Leach wood ashes with water to make lye. Soap is easy

Hey, maybe you’ll be the most successful neolithic brain surgeon and only kill half your patients

I also have a hard time with ID politics and the like, but I’m also a privileged white dude so my primary gripe will always be focused around economic disparity. The BLM protests helped me see it this way: There is not war but the class war, but there are multiple fronts. If we don’t at least try a little to protect minority groups, we won’t have any progressives left

Yea, even down to the name, Deicide has a very “we’re the devil worshippers your pastor ranted about” look.

Yea that’s my issue in this argument too. Saying forums are replacing everything, or even that that’s a big problem is like saying “Swords are disappearing from warfare and that’s a problem” in the late 15th century. We don’t need forums for everything because the format isn’t the only tool we have anymore.

This is a little over your price point I think, but it hits all the details! My ears don’t do well being pressed on so can definitely say it’s the most comfortable headset I’ve worn. Battery has lasted a while too! Mine is pushing 4 years old and still going very strong.
I’d think Eau would show up in an English dictionary as a loan word. Looked it up on the official dictionary and yes it is!

Yea, I’m looking at this but thinking “that’s not happening lol” with my state. I’m in AZ and anyone outside Phoenix is probably driving at least 2 hours just to get there.
For me: 6 hours in a car with 5000ft (1500m) drop/climb just for a protest that’s vaguely “against Project 2025”. I could never justify it.

Too is correct. It just needs a comma to follow. That isn’t grammar.
Yea, those fuckers have always hurt my ears. I didn’t think it was possible for someone to find them more comfortable somehow.
