HemiSync treats me very well.
It even makes my regular glasses slip down all the time. Some frames/pairs are better than others, but it’s hard to escape.
We’ve seen too many body bags and ball sacks!
My last grow of WW was crazy frosty! That plant did about 1/4LB on her own :) It’s a great crowd pleaser. I think my next run will be Barney’s LSD. I should get going on that…
I’ve used jeweler’s eye loupes for extensive periods. They’re not terrible to hold in place unless you’re sweaty. If it’s too small it can become hard, but it generally rests in your eye well and is held in with friction rather than muscles. I do have a set that clip to my glasses now, which I need as I’ve gotten older. Those are easy.
People who only need correction in one eye get glasses with a prescription in one eye, and a plano lens in the other, which is just a clear lens with no correction or adjustments.
Looks great! WW is one of my favs and generally yields well in volume and potency.
TrueNas is pretty top notch and offers a variety of storage and protocol options. If you’re at all familiar with Linux style OS, it should be pretty easy to work with. Setting up storage comes with a little bit of a learning curve, but it’s not too bad. This SAN/NAS OS is polished, performant, and extensible. If you’re not planning on using SMB or Samba, you can most certainly use NFS, or iSCSI if that’s your thing.
In the American version of Ghosts!, one ghost (Hettie) very much enjoys sitting on the washing machine for this reason.
Shit, are consumer appliances really getting that bad? ew!
My house has manual windows, manual locks, and a dumb garage door controller… because I work in IT.
I do have a few smart appliances (environment reporting) but they are only allowed on the banishment VLAN so they don’t get to interact with any single appliance inside my network. All they see is internet and nothing else.
Seconding this. He sounds smart enough to understand “Hey, I need a few minutes, but I still want to talk”.
Raising our kids, we never used reasons like “because I said so”, we always explained why we made the decisions we did, so our children learned reasoning and understanding as they grew. Kids are generally quick to learn, and can understand most situations if explained plainly. Talk to them with clarity and respect and you’ll be surprised at the response you get.

Initiator Target mode and Host Bus Adapter mode are interchangable terms for the same thing. The card has 2 modes, one is RAID (don’t use this) and the other is Initiator-Target or HBA mode.
ZFS needs direct disk access so flash the IT .bin for HBA mode using the P20 (latest) drivers and you’re g2g.
You should NEVER stop blinking before the turning maneuver is finished.
We’re talking about two different things here. Lane change indication usually runs for 3 blinks. That’s standard on most all vehicles. Turn signal stays on until the wheel resets it when returning to origin.
As a driver, your primary responsibility is focus on the things in front of you. If you can’t do that, you shouldn’t be behind the wheel. Likewise, if you can’t see signals other cars are making, you probably shouldn’t be behind the wheel.
Well of course. You should know what’s behind you, so you are not cutting anyone off. That doesn’t mean you are accountable for whatever is going on behind you. Generally, don’t be a dick, and make sure there’s room. That’s common sense.
You can disagree with it, but the DOT states that you need to maintain a minimum distance between you and the vehicle in front of you, in respect to reaction time.
As a motorist, you fulfill this duty by indicating your intent with your turn signal. As long as there is clearance and safe distance, any remaining responsibility is on the individual who is supposed to be paying attention to what is in front of them based on DOT standards.
It’s pretty clear cut.
This is of course no excuse for poor driving, cutting off, or unsafe lane changes. But if you are following the rules of the road, using your signal, and maintaining safe distance, there isn’t much you can do about the distracted person behind you. And that’s not your problem.

Same. This runs for 3 seconds and blinks 3 times. If the car behind you is not paying attention to you for longer than that, that’s their problem. Your first priority when driving is looking where you are going before anything else.
Reclaim is hella potent to dab! I will occasionally pull some just to dab it.
Have you tried using the steam mobile app? I think that has some advanced recovery options. Unsure if you can change the registered email that way, but might be worth a shot.
Edit: Specifically the Steam Guard feature.
