Yeah, thumbs up for your enthusiasm :) When you learn of buddhist monks who helped each other “release sexual tension”, remember: Gautama did not instruct them to torture themselves into that kind of twisted state

I never checked and actually fear to dig into this matter, given how much time has passed and how people have been twisting everything. But I do recall him having monk go take a shelter in a house of a prostitute, and a bunch of monks learning from prostitutes (definitely did happen in Japan). So no, he definitely didn’t have an issue with sex or procreation
One word: bullshit. One name: Siddhartha Gauttama. The guy nailed it about “inevitability” of suffering

Ouch, did I completely forget that part. Yup, those cultures also must be made widely known

Damn that is so good. Take my upvote!

Lol. That’s funny. Do it again

You also can fuck right off. Didn’t do much my ass

Oh, fuck off with that bullshit. I don’t even have a desire to describe why and how exactly this way of thinking is crap

“Christians” also stole this land and genocided people who had lived here since long before they came. Those who don’t like this should return to where their forefathers came from, no?

So we can agree that something targeted at “general user” should play nice with it, but making it a hrd requirement is too much for me

actually, MUST NOT. The moment I see “this is immutable, all things are flatpack/snap/etc.”, I am out, and not because of being a dev myself

I am saying it is about greed because it actually is, since I am yet to see a situation where the ultimate filter for supporting/dropping a client is NOT revenue from people using that client, and here I am talking specifically about companies making money on their product, so no open source, subsidised, hobby projects etc.
Peole love to rant online
They do, now try to catch precisely me doing this

Expand this, please. I am sure I did not get you

It can be fixed: we can choose to produce less idiots and more caring people. You are right, of course, that it is not the only thing we should be doing

What should be fixed is people. The above described logic is true, it does really happen, and behind it is the idiot desire: to get more money. Not to make a better thing, not to make someone’s life better, not to build something worthwhile - in other words, nothing that could get me out of bed in the morning. When that’s the kind of desires fueling most companies and societies, all things will be going in all kinds of wrong ways

Yeah, it should also work without browser exactly as it does with a browser

Great point, thank you:)

So… not intelligent. In the sense that when someone without enough knowledge of computers and/or LLMs hears “LLM is intelligent” and sees “an LLM tells me X”, they will be likely to believe that X is true, and not without a reason. Exactly this is my main reason against all the use of intelligence-related terms. When spoken by knowledgeable people who do know the difference - yeah, I am all for that. But first we need to cut the crap of advertisement and hype

Well, Arch wiki explicitly tells you are expected to read the page before doing an update. Those distros which claim to be user-friendly as in “we treat you with kids gloves” definitely should take care of this, no questions here
Can he also confirm the difference in taste?
