I’m assuming Trump will make up an excuse to attack Cuba now. Hell he doesn’t even need an excuse to wage war at this point.

I’d say it has made most Americans stop taking democracy, or even sanity in our leaders, for granted. We’ve always looked out over the oceans at “them” and pitied those countries with crazy leaders and corruption and now it has taken roost here.

The purge of the red army was noticed by the German high command which factored into launching Operation Barbarossa. The red army was a shambles as most of the officers had been murdered or imprisoned. Units struggled to respond without them.

Car companies are already going towards data gathering though it isn’t limited to EVs. It is much easier to control every aspect of your vehicle though with an EV.

Well if you run out of power it is easier to get someone to bring a container of gas than to get a truck filled with batteries to come and charge you for 30 min. The US has LOTS of large, rural areas with very poor EV support. Half the time the EV lots near me have some sort of problem and are shut off. They make more sense for dense, urban areas where you do lots of short trips and have access to high speed chargers.

Gasoline is not a “volatile explosive”. Movies make people think that shooting a gas tank will make it detonate.

That people in the middle and bottom support it and consider it normal is the problem.
