Solid advice.
To selfhost you first need to know what you want to do, do you want your own vpn service? your website? home assistant? then you decide what you need to host it and start building from that.
I, for example, started the serious journey in 2016 with a raspberry pi 3 with pihole, samba and qbittorrent, and started from that and now I have my own rack.
Why are you going to pay for that when there is a huge selfhosted community willing to help and answer any question.

It’s difficult for some to understand the world is not black and white. I am an anarchist I always have to start saying: “I am an anarchist but I understand the world I am in and the things I have to do to survive they doesn’t mean I can’t spread the word” and the last word goes hard because I am a anarchocristian.
You can’t talk with “black and white world people”. All you can do is reply in hopes those who read don’t fall into the “black and white world hole”.
I would like to not own a car, to not have to spend half my life working for a company that pollutes the world and to no need money. I don’t live in that world but I can try to put a small stone in building that world even though I won’t see it because we are not ready for it.
That being said I hate this world where the State is God and its getting worse but as the saying goes: “the night is darker before dawn”
I don’t know much about android google libraries but I have Android Auto enabled and some apps work (maps, whatsapp) but tempus doesn’t (using github). I have to try with another sonic music player that allows it.

I quit at 25 because I had brackets and two years after I no longer had brackets I started again, quit three years ago thanks to my now wife.
At 25 I also stopped smoking and drinking soda and alcohol.
Keepass is as secure as you make it to be, you can use derivatives like keepassXC but some have had insecure bugs (they still need access to your password db file)

Did they or didn’t they increase almost 200% the acquisition of energy from Russia in 2023? Is the Russian Federation a major provider of gas and oil for Spain (and other European countries) or not?
If you notice I am here only to point the hypocrisy of Europe, which they undoubtedly are and Spain is no different.
I don’t know if you work for a company with business in Russia, I did when this whole thing started and contracts didn’t matter much when sanctions came but I guess we weren’t big enough to make excuses.

The European Union regulates the market so much it’s hard to call it capitalism, the biggest european companies are basically EU projects like Airbus (every government funds it) or too big too fail like Siemens and/or they would use: “strategic industry” and be done with it.
Edit oh and I almost forgot it, or they are like Inditex, basically not European it’s just an European getting rich while exploiting poor people all around the world, but I think this is actually capitalism and that guy isn’t exactly appreciated by ruling dictator, I mean party, in Spain.
It’s not their childrens they belong to the State / Corporations / System
