2024 was the release of iOS 17.4, when Apple allowed third party browsers to use their own engine instead of WebKit/Safari as a layer beneath. So it could very well be that Firefox Mobile and Chrome Mobile on iOS don’t get registered as iOS Device in this survey due to their user agent.

No, they were operated through the mobile internet network in Russia. The operators sat in Ukraine and controlled the drones remotely through Ardupilot. The drones sent a livestream to the operators and received the input, just like a conventional drine would from the remote.

It’s very hard to get an airplane airworthy again after a fire.

I think the number includes soldiers that are crippled or captured, so all soldiers that can’t fight in the war anymore.
Me trying to sleep on the overnight train 😴
The people around me:

Even if its only 1 in 1000 that bites, its worth it for them. Average wage in many of the countries these scammers come from is probably like 50-200 euros, so getting someone to transfer you their savings can give you enough money to live from for years. Obviously, most of that money goes to the person operating the scam.

Yes, its mostly older people that are alone that fall for this type of scam.
My sister-in-law works for a bank and she had a 70yo customer that sent multiple thousands of euros to a guy she has never met. They told her its a scam, but she insisted to send the money anyways. Her family had to watch her sending away all of her life savings.

Creating a fake relationship and then extracting money from people for example by getting them to invest money into fake crypto trading places.

I‘m glad that you don‘t support Russia.
I do agree, that those videos can be very disturbing. Hopefully it reaches and deters soldiers from Russia and shows them that there is a better way out of this.

You shouldn‘t invade independent countries, bomb the shit out of civilians, kill thousands of people and kidnap their children, yet here we are with snowflakes that „fully support russia“ crying about fucked up videos on the internet.

German here, I actively try to avoid companies supporting the Russian Economy like Pepsi and Müller Milch. It’s just very hard to keep track of it.

You mean Day.Month.Year?

That SU-25 looks like something from a museum.

And somehow now it‘s all the greens fault.
Hope you grounded your hardware to the wood.

My main server cabinet at my parents house. I have one old Synology for backups, one home built Xpenology for streaming and one small server with old gaming hardware for steam link, but its barely running anymore. Theres one HP server with 2x Xeon E5 and 128GB missing in the photo that I got for 100€ at an auction, which I use for occasional game server hosting.

At home I have this setup, my main synology NAS and a thinkcentre with an i7 and 16GB of ram for Minecraft and FiveM.
Those were the basic entry level configurations needed to run Windows Vista with Aero effects.
The problem is that many specific communities are transitioning from reddit to discord. It would be cool to have some kind of matrix integration with Lemmy accounts/communities and vice versa.
