Never seen a soup spoon like that in Europe. Everyone has a variant of these though

You’re missing out. Ryzens are awesome
“Vous” is the first one that comes to mind in french. But since it is also a more formal (and/or “respectful”) version of “tu/toi”, it can both designate a group of people or a single person, depending on the context (just like “you” in English). Sometimes people will use “vous tous” (literally “you all”) to make this clear.
It is a little better than the “you” situation in English since if you are speaking with someone that is not using the singular form of “vous” to speak about you (which is basically anyone you are familiar with unless they are your boss or In-laws and kind of oldschool), it is instantly clear what they mean at least.
Do you really think that either of them are going to pay any significant amount to be the default?
I can see Bing doing it. And Google is so far gone that it would probably be an improvement
I guess they are not joking when they say that the human body can be surprisingly resilient
Obviously the trees were Hamas /s
I’ve never had to use it for important stuff tbh. But alongside a regex tester and a sample of the stuff I intend to use it on, I’ve had good results with an incremental approach where I tell the LLM what I want to change with the expression until I’m satisfied
All my homies hate regexs. That’s actually the best use case I found for LLMs so far : I just tell it what I want it to match or not match, and it usually spits out a decent one
Tell me about it, all the juniors were doing it at my old job, and I was usually the one tasked with fixing their shit. And since we basically didn’t do any form of mentoring (including code reviews) it was such a pain in the ass to get them to change their ways
If this metal thingy is anything like the one used as dust covers inside PC cases it’ll just bend (I’ve actually tried to use one as a bottle opener).
I think China is still one giant timezone, yes.
Edit: There’s a relevant map men episode about that (and the islands thing) but I’m at work right now
Nah I’m depressed but still curious af
Found the American. In France that would be a huge ripoff compared to what the other providers have to offer. Like, literally any VDSL offer is around 30€/month (or under) and no caps
This. I didn’t spend nearly 1000 bucks on hardware that ensures that I basically spend more time on the POST screen than on the rest of the entire boot sequence to keep the thing on 24/7
Let me rephrase it then : “in order to not bomb your civilian ass, we need to know where the Ukrainian armed forces are located”. Even if the Ukrainian army was using their own civilians as meat shields that wouldn’t make much sense because the Russians would still have to bomb civilians in order to bomb the army… So the only explanation is that they’re basically saying “rat on your army, or else” here.
I keep joking that we should make video games mandatory for millionaires when this subject comes up but I legit think that playing some grindy game or management games would make this type of people less greedy to some degree, because at their core they appeal to our seemingly primal urge of always hoarding more resources.
Can unfortunately confirm
I’ve heard a Javelin missile is near 100% efficient if it can get a good lock. Wikipedia says “The Pentagon claimed that of the first 112 Javelins fired by the Ukrainians since the start of the war, 100 missiles had hit their target”
My DayZ-rotten brain immediately started looking for heli loot around the carcass
Idk, I would not ruin a man’s life over the similarities. But then again I am quite terrible at telling faces apart
