When I was a real little kid, summer was always a hard time for me to eat because I was cut off from the subsidized lunch program. My mother was severely mentally ill and barely provided a meal a day sometimes. Food stamps, subsidized lunch programs and food shelves provided most of my nutrition, it was a benefit she couldn’t divert away from feeding me and my siblings most of the time.

Anybody who supports removing these programs is legitimately a monster. It keeps so many kids alive or from developing horrific nutritional deficiencies. It has nothing but a positive impact on the community and economy.

Not terribly surprised, new platform that’s still teething. I’ve said it before but we will go through multiple growth and contraction waves if we all care to stick around long enough.

Personally I’m liking the smaller community so far. Definitely could use some growth, but more people comes with a lot of problems reddit has.

Well damn, thanks for getting it done. Didn’t think it would happen and I wasn’t surprised you guys wanted to avoid the legal risk.

I don’t slick back my hair, but I use a beard oil, wax and pomade on my beard and head periodically. I take a shower and add all three sometimes afterwards. More often I just use a bit of oil or pomade. Keeps the hair soft and makes it smell nice. If you want more structure, I would definitely look at waxes and pomades. Both have much more holding power.

Somewhat expected, probably will be multiple waves of people joining with small declines in the months immediately after. Some of those less engaged individuals will come back too, and some of each wave will stay. I stayed from this last wave of reddit users. That sounds like it could work pretty well, you could even just add it on to other comment sort styles. You don’t need to necessarily remove downvotes if you really want them in specific instances.
