FWIW, I’m not too worried about John’s dating life. The furry community is pretty strong and cross-functional, and there’s a ton of hobby overlap with furries and other hobbies and sports. Especially if he’s bi, there will be others that he will meet, and he’s young. Hopefully his depression gets better.
I just don’t really know how it’s really going to work. Couldn’t you just design your own parts with one weird bit of geometry and the computer wouldn’t recognize it?
Like, I get you don’t want ghost guns, but it seems like the bigger prize is going after illegal and currently legal guns that are actually used in mass shootings. 3D printed stuff seems like small potatoes compared to the daily casualty rates.
I think the Valve era was pretty incredible.
Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress 2, Half Life + HL2, and Portal + 2 all pushed the genres forward or were utterly unique for their time.
I can’t think of any other dev ATM that was doing what valve was doing in the 00s and early 10s.

Mine failed that way, yeah. Though I think it was user error after trying to repair a mouse that wasn’t designed to be serviced officially. All the rubber wore off the wing, so I had to disassemble and replace it with a generic part. The left and right clicks are a bit spongy now, and middle click only intermittently works now, but the mouse is grippy again. I wish more mice were actually repairable.
It’s annoying to have mice that break down and need to be repurchased instead of a few replacement parts. 90% of the mouse was fine.

Just a heads up, you can also freeze fresh spinach in the freezer for smoothies! It keeps pretty well because it freezes into individual “chips” that don’t stick together unless it thaws. It’s excellent if you’d usually be throwing away spinach that was going to go bad. I recommend buying and freezing a large portion immediately in a freezer bag, just so it doesn’t get mushy in your fridge.
What if you just didn’t go home at first? Hit a climbing gym with buddies, or buy an ebike and use that to commute home. Interrupting your normal schedule and psychologically making home only a place of rest might help you reset your life a bit.
You don’t have to spend money either. You could even just hit up a park, the library, or hang out with buddies. We tend to go swimming lots once standard time hits.
I usually use something bleach-based for toilet and sinks, as they can start to get funky, especially around tile. Sometimes a bleach powder for the tub bottom, if it gets dirty and is difficult to scrub with simple green. I sometimes swap between simple green and bleach-based, depending on what I’m wearing. I’ve destroyed multiple pieces of clothing with bleach, unfortunately. It does really clean dirty things easily, though.
Also, alcohol wipes can clean walls, if they start to get dirty (eg, bug droppings, pollen, etc. we keep our windows open in summer)
If you carve out a tunnel into the floor and have the entrance down a foot or two, the wind can’t blow directly in, and the cold air will sink to fill the tunnel/entrance with your sleeping platform being quite warm.
Anecdotally, yes. I was able to go from dusting my PC every 3-6mo to every year.
The filters are completely fuzzy on the air filters every 6-12 mo. I still vacuum and dust, just way less frequently. I also don’t wear shoes in the house.
I run them 24/7 in my bedroom and office.
GTA. Games 3 and 4 were good, 5 was kinda fun, but I’m not really at all excited for the same formula over and over again. Even battlefield feels a bit samey. Only indie games are really taking risks these days. And some of them are fantastic.
Also, for what it’s worth, hot sauce also makes you feel way more full/less hungry. If you need an addition.
Gaming is a hobby, but just that. A hobby. We like to do other stuff like camping, skiing, hiking, etc.
It may be good to have an open discussion with your gf about doing other things, or a couple’s counselor. The latter might be easier if you are unsure about how to really talk about it.
Someone hopped a nearly 6 foot tall by 4 feet deep construction barrier blocking both ends of an out of service escalator, with multiple pallets or replacement escalator stairs stacked all around it. (The elevator was in service right by the escalator)
Anyways, they predictably fell through the massive hole in the escalator and cut their shins to ribbons on the exposed stairs. They then got to the bottom of the train station platform and were bitching about their legs. Eventually, they hailed a police officer just to bitch and whine further about their gouged shins. The officer had the grace to just listen to the guy and not call him a dumb motherfucker for hopping the multiple tall plastic barriers and signs. I was just shaking my head in amazement until my train came.
They’re lucky that they didn’t fall the 30-45 feet down to the train platform by hopping the construction barrier either.
Wow, things really haven’t changed all that much, haha. Pretty sure you can get essentially that exact same design at outdoor stores.

Finding things is such a pain in the ass nowadays. You get a problem with something, say you need a spare part. None of the stores have it. It is on Amazon…but it won’t be here for a solid two weeks. It’s infuriating.
Something that should take less than an hour to fix is now a multi week wait, because of stupid online retailers. And it will be something super common, like a tool to tighten up loose spokes on a bike wheel.
